Programme of Talks and Workshops – 7 June to 30 August 2014
Our Talks and Workshops Programme is free to attend. It will complement our exhibition of The Hidden Art of Barnsley at the Cooper Gallery from 7 June to 30 August 2014. It will give you more information about these fascinating Barnsley artists, their lives, their work and the influence of their Barnsley roots on this. It will also give an opportunity for you to try out your creative skills in an entertaining and enjoyable situation.
So if you want to find out about an explorer to rival Livingstone or an art nouveau designer who worked on the Winter Gardens Blackpool and Harrods Food Hall, just come along. Perhaps you would like to try producing paper sculptures or pen and ink drawings as one of our artists did.
We will provide more information about these events and how to book your place nearer the time. Check our website regularly and look for posters and announcements about them.
